Meet my 'nieces' Pru & Rose!
Sara adopted Pru & Rose from Squeaky pigs rescue (now closed) after she heard their sad story & saw them on the adoption pages.
Sara had been after boars but fell in love with these cheeky girls.
Pru & Rose had lived with a neutered male with their previous owner before arrival at Squeaky pigs rescue. This boar was called Leo (centre)
.All 3 pigs had fungal, but Leo was in a paryicularly bad way.
Leo, who was a 6 year old Rex (old age for a REX) also had an infected penis & was in so much pain that he had to be put to sleep.
Sara was soon able to adopt Pru & Rose after they had been treated for their skin problems. She was only sad that she never got the chance to give the lovely leo a nice home too.
